| Max Burkert, #7, is a senior midfielder. He played for the Warren County Soccer Club and the Loveland Chargers. Max’s favorite food is that from Subway. All of those pregame away meals have grown on him. His hobbies include skateboarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and ping-pong. If a movie was made about Max’s life, he would like the “funny” Ben Stiller to play his part. Max’s favorite movie is “Fast 5” and his favorite book is “To Kill A Mockingbird”. Upon graduation, Max is thinking about the Coast Guard and studying government/international affairs. | |

Sam Fadayel, #4, is a senior defender. He played club soccer for Cincinnati United. Sam’s favorite food is Italian food. When Sam is not playing soccer he likes to play Xbox, hang out with friends, go boating, shooting, or fishing with his grandfather. When it is time to prepare for a game, he tries to imagine himself on the field playing with confidence. He works on focus and getting in a good warm-up. If a movie was made about him, he would choose Tom Cruise to play his part. He thinks he is a good actor and really cool guy. Sam’s favorite movie is “Taken” and his favorite book is “The Pistol” by James Jones. He reflects on his best H.S. memory as attending Prom in 2011. His best soccer memory is almost scoring to defeat Anderson in the last 10 seconds of the game. Sam is considering attending Miami University or U.C. to study Mechanical Engineering. |

Kyle Holdeman is a senior goalkeeper. He has not played soccer for a club team. Kyle’s favorite food is spaghetti. He enjoys spending time hanging out with friends. Kyle’s favorite movie is “UP” and his favorite book is “The Scarlet Letter”. His best H.S. memory is seeing Mrs. Wittig at Prom. His best soccer memory is having dinner at the Householders. Michael Kettler, #15, is a senior defender. He played for the Warren County Soccer Club growing up. Michael enjoys a hardy meal of steak and potatoes. When he has free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and playing basketball. His pregame ritual includes hydrating with PGP. His favorite movie is “Billy Madison” and his favorite book is “5 People You Meet In Heaven”. When asked about his worst memory in H.S., he lists having to write 200 sentences during Mr. Holtrey’s detention. He looks back on beating Lasalle during his sophomore year as his best soccer memory. Michael, has not decided on college yet, but is looking at attending OU, UK, UC, or OSU. He would like to major in Business. |

Blake Masencamp, #13, is a senior defender. He played club soccer for Loveland/Cincinnati Soccer Alliance. His favorite food is Buffalo Chicken Wings. Blake has many interests including swimming, skiing, and hanging out with friends. His pregame rituals include listening to music especially for away games when there is a long bus ride. If his there was a movie made about his life, he would pick Will Ferrell to play his part because he is hilarious. Blake’s favorite movie is “Inception”. His best H.S. memory is attending German classes for the past 3 years. His favorite soccer memory is that of Lucas Abraao scoring an amazing goal during their freshman year. Prior to every game, Nathan eats a banana. He is not sure how this originated. He would have Arnold Schwarzenegger play his part in a movie since he is really big. His favorite movie is “Due Date” and his favorite book is “To Kill a Mockingbird”. His favorite H.S. memory is every single day spent in KHS. His favorite soccer memory is during his sophomore year when Matt Nelson stole Blake Masencamp’s water bottle and got kicked out of practice. He plans on attending OU or Miami University next fall and will likely study Business. Lastly, he would like to grow up to be Coach Poggi. |

| LUCAS ABRAAO – Lucas has played soccer for the Cincinnati United Blackhawks in the past. His favorite food is French Fries and he likes to hang out with his friends and play soccer. Of all the books he’s read, he remembers “13 Reasons Why” as the best. He said Vin Diesel should play him in a movie because “he is a stud in every movie he is in”. The best movie he has seen recently is “Inception”. His best soccer memory is getting second place in a big State Tournament for his club team. Lucas wants to study International Business but is undecided as to which school. | |
| ERIC BARNES – Eric has played soccer for Cincinnati United, Lakota, Warren County and for Loveland club teams. His favorite food is Cinnamon Rolls. His hobby is soccer and he likes to hang out with his friends. Eric’s favorite movie is BORAT and if he could choose a star who would play him it would be Vin Diesel. His favorite book is KINDRED. Eric said that his best High School memories are playing Dart Wars and being hypnotized at After Prom. As a pre-game ritual, Eric likes to listen to loud “pump-up” music before a game. His best high school soccer memories include Max Burkert singing funny songs at soccer practice and the “hat trick” he did last season for Kings. Eric has not decided on a major and is still checking out colleges. | |

He loves to eat Subways, listen to his I-Pod and watch TV as part of his pre-game rituals. His favorite movie is “American Gangster” and his favorite book is “Rough and Tumble”. His best soccer memory is when KINGS tied Mason when Mason was #1 in the city. His best high school memory was playing freshman basketball, a season where he had a lot of fun. | STEVE MICHALAK – Steve is playing soccer for the Kings high school for the first time this year. He said he has not played in a club soccer team before and that he is a “Goalie Virgin”. His favorite food is Skyline Chili. His hobbies are basketball, running and watching movies. Before a game, he likes to listen to music and just stay quiet. His favorite book is “Five People You Meet in Heaven” and his favorite movie is “Inception”. He would choose Will Ferrell to play him in a movie because he is a “goofy beast”. Steve’s best high school memory is when he qualified in the Track & Field regional competition for three events. He is hoping for a great soccer season. Steve wants to pursue some type of engineering degree and is considering Purdue, Ohio State, Georgia Tech and University of Illinois as options. | |
| MIKEY ROAT – Mikey has played varsity soccer for Kings High School since his freshman year! Until this season, he has played several years with the Cincinnati United Premier club soccer team. His pre-game ritual is to listen to music. Mikey likes to hang out with his friends and play cards. His favorite movie is Gladiator and he thinks Chuck Norris should play him in a movie because he is a “beast”. His best high school memory is playing dart wars with his friends. His worst soccer memory is summer conditioning and his best memory is starting on the varsity as a freshman. Mikey wants to study business and is considering UC, Ohio University and Ohio State as options. | |

ANDY ASH – Andy has played for Kings and Thunder United in the past and he loves any kind of fast food. His most memorable moment is during a game against Turpin, when he tried to head the ball back to the keeper and it hit the goal post, almost making an own goal. He also fondly remembers scoring against Edgewood when playing the sweeper position. When not playing soccer, Andy enjoys skiing, tennis and ping-pong, as well as playing FIFA. He plans on attending college in Ohio – probably at OU, OSU, or UC – and will minor in Spanish but hasn’t settled on a major. Andy thinks Tom Hanks should play him in a movie, since he looks like his father. |

ALEX HOWELL-Alex plays Lacrosse during the spring season at Kings, and loves Italian food. He likes to listen to his IPOD before a game, because “it makes me focus on the game and prepares me mentally.” He enjoys hanging out with his friends, playing paintball and watching movies. His favorite movie is Home Alone 3, and he thinks Heath Ledger should play him in a movie, since people say they look alike. His best high school memory is Miss Smith’s speech class and his favorite soccer memory is the game against Princeton. BENNETT MOSS-Bennett has played soccer for SAY and Represent, and he thinks starting the day with a well-balanced breakfast gives him the energy he needs before a game. His favorite soccer memory is when he convinced Max to sing “Don’t Cha” by the Pussycat Dolls during the huddle. Bennett’s favorite movie is “The Truman Show” and his favorite book is Oedipus The King by Sophocles. He thinks Brad Pitt should play him in a movie, since people tell him they look alike, and he plans to major in engineering at OU, OSU, or Michigan. Bennett says forming the “Euchre Crew” is both his best and worst memory from high school, and he has “been known to drop some sick freestyle raps.” |

SAM MULLAN-Sam has played soccer for Kings as well as recreationally. His favorite moment with Kings was on the JV team, when he scored the winning goal against Walnut Hills in the FAVC Division his sophomore year. His hobbies include watching all kinds of sports and “portraying the numerous characters that have lived on the world of the stage.” Sam has starred in high school plays, including last year’s musical. He is a big fan of the Transformers movies, and thinks Adam Sandler’s ability to be a smart aleck would make him a good choice to play Sam in a movie. Before games Sam starts up the music for the crowd and likes to run up and down the bleacher stairs! Announcing for the teams has given him a great interest in broadcast journalism, and he is very grateful for to everyone for their support and for giving him the opportunity to announce. |

NICHOLAS PONDER-Nicholas plays for CUP Gold and loves to juggle the soccer ball in his spare time. His favorite soccer memory is from last year, when he scored in double overtime, beating the number one team in the State of North Carolina! He likes to eat and listen to music before games to relax, and is very glad to be a senior this year. Nicholas’ favorite professional player is Cristiano Ronaldo, and favorite movie is Taken. He plans to study medicine at UC, OSU or Miami. Brad Pitt would be his choice of actors to play him in a movie, and he beats “everyone on the team in FIFA every time.” |

He loves fast food and hanging out at Sonic, as well as music and playing Euchre. His favorite book is The DaVinci Code and his favorite movie is Big Daddy. Before a game, Brendan likes to listen to music and consider ways he can improve in the upcoming game. His favorite soccer memory is winning a penalty kick shootout in the final game of a tournament. He loves Chipotle burritos, the movie “Saw” and playing FIFA on the Wii. He plans to study Biology or Biomedical Science in the future.
