As a member of the Kings High School Soccer Program, you are expected to:

o   Do your best every time you step on the field in a practice or game.

o   Be responsible to know all practice, game, meeting, and bus times. All athletes should arrive at practice 10 minutes early – otherwise you will be considered late.

o   Be at all practices and games unless specifically pre-excused by the coach. Work, senior pictures, and other non-emergencies are unexcused. In case of emergency or illness, call Coach Poggi at 807-8013 or Coach Mount at 937-728-2962 and leave a message.

o   Proper equipment must be worn at all times. Bring your shin guards, cleats, running shoes and water everyday. Not having any of the above equipment will result in disciplinary action.

o   Maintain all game gear. Game gear is to be worn for games only. Jerseys may be worn for special occasions at the discretion of the coach. Damage to jerseys will be paid for by the specific player.

o   Show respect for your teammates, coaches, parents, opposing players and referees. Good sportsmanship must be present at all times. Any negative attitudes, behaviors or actions will be dealt with by the coach on an individual basis.

o   Use appropriate language at all times.

o   Hair cuts – off the eyes, off the collar, off the ears – throughout entire season

o   Varsity Letters will be earned by appearing in at least 50% of varsity contests and will be determined by the coaching staff

o   NO drinking, NO drugs, NO tobacco. Violation of any of these will be dealt with through the TEAM-UP program.

Consequences of not meeting the above expectations will result in running, forfeiture of playing time and/or eventual dismissal from the team. Consequences will be determined by the coaches on an individual basis.
